Tetnight Education & Wellbeing International (TEWBIT) is a UK registered Not For Profit Company, with Charitable Aims. It was incorporated in 2011 to fund sustainable educational programmes in Greater Accra, Ghana.
TEWBIT began as a self-help group comprising of mothers (GaDangme Yei Anoyaa Kpee – meaning GaDangme Women Development Association) from the Greater Accra area of Ghana, whose aim is to improve conditions of women and children through education, both formal and informal.
In view of the Millennium Development Goals the management team felt that it was essential for the Educational Project to be more inclusive, diverse and broad-based, as well as to offer real life changing opportunities to other target group in the area.
The organisation supports Youth Training to improve real job opportunities and to improve their economic and social well-being, personal development and entrepreneurship.
Active support is given to girls and women to achieve economic strength through Micro level income generating activities.
